IBF Investigations saw its humble beginnings in 2000, when Stan and Jackie returned from a one-year stay in Vancouver, BC, Canada. During their stay in Canada, Stan was called to testify as an Expert in a matter that he produced a report on. He returned to South Africa in 2000, started what was then knows as Millennium Solutions, and testified as required. His expertise was accepted and his career in the field of 'Accident Reconstruction' started.

All this started as the result of a friend of his - Natasja - being involved in a serious collision one night, as she was returning home from a SCUBA diving course. Natasja was injured in the collision, crushging her foot and resulting in her having to abandon her ballet passion and she suffered of PTSD and amnesia.

Because she could not remember anything, she had only Stan's analysis and his testimony to rest on - and she was facing criminal charges (reckless and/or negligent driving). Stan testified, and Natasja was found 'not guilty.'

After returning from Canada, Jackie took up employment in the private sector, and honed her skills as an office administrator. Her commitments to Stan's efforts were so complete that she worked a 'day-job" from 8 to 5 every day, but for two years she also worked 'in the field' with Stan, as an Accident Investigator. Under Stan's tuition and guidance, Jackie became an absolute specialist in the at-scene administrative aspects of the business. She also became most adept at securing involved party details, interviewing witnesses, victims, suspects and drivers and perfected the at-scene investigation model still used by IBF today. Necessity further educated Jackie, forcing her to learn (in the field) all the skills required for administering critical first aid to injured, critical and dying patients, at accident scenes.

Jackie eventually joined stan permanently, and is till a share-holder in IBF Investigations. Jackie still attends accidents with Stan on a regular basis. She is now responsible for all the administrative aspects of IBF Investigations, but also actively contributed at-scene where the collection of physical data, tyre analysis and involved-party interviewing is needed. Together, Stan and Jackie registered IBF Investigations cc in 2004, and relocated to Cape Town, which is now their home-base. They have spent a lot of time on the roads in Cape Town and have been seen on numerous scenes, including some of the most notorious, like the Kloof Neck and Piketberg Bus Accidents.

Having attended many cases for the RTMC (Road Traffic Management Corporation) all over South Africa, Stan and Jackie has become a team that stands strong and proud amid any diversity. Their record for accident attendance is as impressive as their image and they have attended as many as 16 scenes in a single night, 36 in one weekend and 186 in one month. They are truly committed to their business always strive to improve and enhance their skills. The following is an example of a list of accidents attended by Stan and Jackie in just one night - on

Stan has worked abroad extensively, and has visited countries like Oman in the Middle East, Gothenburg in Sweden, Lesotho and Namibia, although his career and exposure to this industry started during his stay in Canada. Jackie has continued to advance herself as well, and is currently completing her Mechanical Engineering studies, which she plans to apply to the advancement of IBF Investigations, the improvement of product and service quality and towards personal growth and advancement.

Over the years, the bond between Stan and Jackie has grown stronger and stronger. They got engaged in 2009, after more than 18 years together. Stan and Jackie has remained together, committed to each other and passionate about their business throughout extensive diversity, but everyone that knows them, knows their passion for what they do. Jackie is in the process of planning a very special social responsibility program that is due to be launched during 2010, while Stan is planning the release of his training DVD series. Both are constantly striving towards perfection, improvement, quality and personal dedication.
