Welcome to IBF South Africa...

As a specialized 24-hour at-scene accident investigation and reconstruction entity, we have been operational for five years. In this time, we have investigated and reconstructed in excess of 6,000 accidents in practically every province in South Africa.

Our commitment to our functions and services have become legendary after we become one of the busiest accident units in the world. Our record currently stands at 16 accident per night, 36 per weekend and 186 per month - for one investigation unit!

Yes - that's two people, one car, that many accidents!

At the moment, IBF Investigations consists of Stan Bezuidenhout and Jackie Smith - both partners in IBF Investigations cc. Our efforts are supported by volunteer members who are trained by us and commit their personal resources, time and effort to the objectives of IBF Investigations - to strive to ensure that all accidents in South Africa are properly investigated.

When Shane Wilmoth and Tasch Aweh saw the efforts and commitment of IBF Investigations, they were overpowered by the passion we had for what we do and the absolute perfection with which we strived to do it. So, they offered to join and assist.

After receiving extensive media coverage in local, national and international mediums including Popular Mechanics, FHM and Visual Statement's Technology Magazine, various local companies decided to sponsor our efforts and to provide us with cutting edge technology - thereby further perfecting our model.

Among the most mentionable sponsors are Mercedes Benz Commercial in Cape Town, who sponsored this fantastic vehicle to be applied as a mobile laboratory:
Of course, it was up to us to fully equip the vehicle, so we converted the inside to enable us to perform all our functions at the scene of accidents, including investigation, reconstruction, printing reports and producing animations...
Please take a moment to read more about us and our services, and of course - about our sponsors...
Thank you
